New Steps in Transforming School Cleaning
For more than a decade, Healthy Schools Campaign and partners have been changing the way schools are cleaned—with benefits for students, staff and the environment. Now, HSC is partnering with ISSA to expand our work and broaden our reach.
Strong History, New Partnership + Opportunities
Healthy Schools Campaign (HSC) is excited to continue to work with ISSA to promote green cleaning to the education sector. Building on HSC’s 10 years of promoting green cleaning in schools, this work will focus on establishing a vibrant network of school facility managers. At the heart of this program is our Steering Committee, made up of the top school facility directors in the country. With their expertise and support, we are building a strong peer-to-peer professional network with the goal of engaging thousands of facility directors over five years. We believe this peer-to-peer network will move the needle on how schools are cleaned to protect both student health and the environment.
Green Clean Schools Education Track at ISSA/INTERCLEAN
HSC is working with ISSA to bring 100 school facility operators to ISSA/INTERCLEAN North America in Dallas in October 2018. Attendees will be part of a two-day program designed to guide them through their ISSA experience with an emphasis on green cleaning. The forum includes education workshops on the most pressing topics related to green cleaning in schools as well as a guided tour of the show floor where attendees will meet the education and sustainability representatives of participating sponsor companies.
We will also host two end-user panels on the show floor featuring members of our Steering Committee. These panels will give industry members an opportunity to hear first hand how the nation’s leading facility managers make purchasing decisions for their award-winning green cleaning programs.
Greencleanschools.org is the place for all things green clean schools.
